SICE was awarded the contract for the construction of all electrical, thermomechanical, air conditioning and similar plant works relating to the energy redevelopment of the Giardini del Sole shopping center in Castelfranco Veneto. The contract, worth approximately 4 million euros, involves the complete replacement of all air conditioning systems with the supply of 22 new high-efficiency heat pump rooftops as well as several hydronic heat pumps, the renovation of the electrical substation and all the backbone power systems as well as a refined BMS supervision, home automation and thermoregulation system. The new rooftop units will treat a total of over 735,000 m³ of air per hour for a peak installed cooling capacity of approximately 5,600 kW. The intervention will benefit from tax deductions thanks to the simultaneous anti-seismic and thermal insulation interventions on the building’s roof.
